Lions Finish Close Second

The De Anza College women's cross country team had five runners with impressive performances in a runner-up finish at the 2024 Coast Conference championships, Wednesday at Crystal Springs.

Joselin Joya Camacho (3rd overall), Corinne Thelen (7th), Mackenzie MacDonald (8th), Siena Pignataro (15th), and Maria Chavez (18th) paced the Lions, earning 35 points - just six behind Hartnell College.

De Anza will participate in the Northern California championships on Friday, Nov. 8 at Toro Park (Salinas).
