Cross Country Notes

3C2A Championship Highlights:

De Anza College (men) placed 10th out of 24 - top among Coast Conference schools and third in the North overall. Sophomore Antoine Moret finished 12th and earn All-American status. DA tied its record for its highest-ever team finish at the state meet. James Estrella finished 63rd, Diego Ochoa-Mendez 81st, Angel Arciniega 83rd, John Blockhus 97th, Kai Winebarger 132nd, and Koyo Kai finished 154th.

On the women's side, sophomore Jacky Velasquez (23rd) earned 2nd Team All-State, and Joselin Joya Camacho (50th) – both finishing in the top half of 167 participants.
