Alumni Spotlight: Courtney Seljeseth

 

As a freshman in 2023, De Anza College's Courtney Seljeseth (Leland High School) won three state gold medals in the 200 medley, 100 and 200 breaststroke events.

She was voted 3C2A Female Co-Swimmer Of The Year.

In the Coast Conference championships, she was the high-point winner – taking gold in the same three events.

As an All-American, Courtney finished her career as one of the most decorated student-athletes in college history.

At the 2023 De Anza College Academic & Athletic Achievement Awards ceremony, Courtney earned two awards as Freshman of the Year and Performance of the Year.

Courtney was originally headed to UCLA before transferring to Azusa Pacific University.

On Feb. 15, 2025, Courtney won the 200-yard breaststroke – helping the team win its first-ever Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference Championship.
