De Anza College will honor the 2022 CCCAA State Champion badminton team on Thursday evening, with a ring ceremony on campus. The event is scheduled to be streamed live at 6 p.m. on the De Anza Sports Network: https://team1sports.com/deanza/

The Mountain Lions capped a perfect 15-0 season with a remarkable 11-0 victory over Southern California's top-ranked team Irvine Valley College in the state final on May 12.

De Anza became the first team to win each singles and doubles contests without losing a set in a team championship. The Lions completed the tournament sweep - capturing the individual title (Vanessa Dinh) and doubles crown (Malaya Paras-Mangrobang & Madison Moe).

The ceremony will be co-hosted by Director of Athletics & Student-Athlete Success Ron Hannon and College President Dr. Lloyd Holmes. Head Coach Mark Landefeld will also be joined by team captains on stage to highlight the team's historic season.
