De Anza moves from Receiving Votes to state's Top 20

SAN BERNARDINO - Voters in the California Community College Sports Information Association men's soccer poll seem to have shuffled the deck a little bit, but the teams in the top 10 spots remained the same in this week's poll.

The top two spots remain the same: Fullerton at No. 1 with five first place votes, and El Camino solidifying its spot at No. 2, taking the other two first place votes this week, after receiving none last week.

The state's two remaining teams without a loss flipped positions at No. 3 and No. 4, with Oxnard (7-0-2) inching ahead of Evergreen Valley (10-0-1). Fresno City and Norco each moved up one spot to No. 5 and No. 6, respectively, as Santa Rosa was the biggest mover in the top 10, falling to No. 7.

Coming off a 12-goal week, San Bernardino Valley remained at No. 8, while the final two in the top 10 flipped as well, as Skyline jumped ahead of Merced.

Four teams entered the top 20 after receiving votes last week: Folsom Lake at No. 15, followed by De Anza at No. 16. Hartnell entered the poll at No 18, with Santa Monica taking the No. 19 spot.

One of the biggest things to come out of the poll was the fall of Mt. San Antonio out of the top 20 this week. The Mounties dropped from No. 17 to the outside looking in, receiving only 14 voting points, one point behind No. 20 Cabrillo.
