Lions Host Chabot To Close Regular Season

To goal to be 1-0 continues for the 10th game of the season for De Anza College football.

The No. 23 Lions (4-0 in the PAC-7, 9-0 overall) will host Chabot College (1-3, 4-5) on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Sophomore Day for the Lions will have an extra-special meaning, as the team has the opportunity to clinch an outright PAC-7 League championship - regardless of the Redwoods-Siskiyous outcome on Saturday.

De Anza ranks third in state scoring (45.0 ppg), while Chabot ranks 29th (30.8). On defense, the Lions are allowing 13.7 points per game (5th in California) and the Gladiators are giving up 33.6 (47th).

Gates (closest to Lot C) will open at 12:00 p.m. Canopies (top row of bleachers only) and umbrellas are allowed, as long as they do not block the view of others.

Parking is free in all college parking lots - except marked spaces. Recommended parking: Lot C (including Stelling Garage) and Lot E (West side of Stadium).
