Bio
Pat Gallmann is a native of Campbell, California, where he was a two-year starter for Prospect High School. He then attended West Valley College transferring to Chico State to earn his B.S. in Finance, and then to San Jose State where he earned his MBA. During this time he stayed close to basketball by playing intramurals, winning championships at both Chico State and then San Jose State.
After graduating from SJSU, he started his career in finance at Lockheed Missiles and Space. He then pivoted four years later into high tech sales, where he led various North American and Worldwide sales teams for 25 years.
During this time he coached high school basketball for 12 years as an assistant; schools included Castilleja, Homestead, Los Gatos, and Pioneer. Gallmann spent 10 of those years with coach Berticevich winning five BVAL championships, with five CCS Playoff appearances, and two CCS quarterfinal appearances.
Gallmann is married to his beautiful bride of 29 years, Isin. They raised three children, Hailey (27), Elle (25) and Gabe (21). When not coaching, he likes to be with family and friends, travel, and watch sports - especially college football and basketball, and the San Francisco 49ers.
He is very honored to be part of the De Anza coaching staff. He looks forward to creating a competitive championship culture while helping our players advance their academic and athletic pursuits.
