Bio

Marissa Trejo started as De Anza College's second full-time athletic trainer in Summer of 2023.

Raised in San Jose, Trejo was a softball student-athlete at De Anza College and studied Kinesiology while interning with the training room staff back in 2015-2017.  

She transferred to Azusa Pacific University to receive her Bachelor's in Kinesiology; then continued her education at the University of the Pacific where she earned her Master's in Athletic Training.  

Trejo was on staff at San Jose State University as a graduate-student intern working with the Spartans’ football and baseball programs during the 2022-2023 seasons. She brings sport specific experience in football, baseball, basketball, women's water-polo, swim and dive, and track and field.
