De Anza announces partnership with Nike and BSN SPORTS

CUPERTINO, CA – As the De Anza College athletic department transitions to a mascot and logo change, it also announced a new apparel and sporting goods multi-year partnership with Nike and BSN SPORTS.

Nike will become the official provider of uniforms, apparel and sideline gear for De Anza College’s 16 intercollegiate sports teams. In addition, BSN SPORTS will supply equipment and services for the school’s Physical Education & Athletics Division related to instructional and weight room facilities.

"We look forward to building this relationship with Nike and BSN SPORTS,” said Kulwant Singh, De Anza College Director of Athletics.

“Outfitting our student-athletes with the highest quality uniforms and providing top of the line equipment is an exciting venture for De Anza Athletics."

The partnership is believed to be BSN SPORTS/Nike’s largest among the 115 California community colleges.

"BSN SPORTS is excited to partner with De Anza College and support the new vision and efforts of the student-athletes and staff”, said John Gillette, BSN SPORTS Regional Sales Manager.

De Anza’s new branding of the “Mountain Lions” – coinciding with an upcoming athletics website redesign – will start during this spring and summer, in time for the 2020-21 academic year. The teams will transition to Nike custom uniforms starting this fall, including men’s and women’s basketball programs making the switch to Jordan Brand.
