Coast Champions!

Updates from Head Coach Danielle Altman:

 

The De Anza College Men's Swimming & Diving Team captured the 2025 Coast Conference championship this weekend at College of San Mateo.
 
Congratulations to head coach Danielle Altman, our great student-athletes and assistant coaches for this tremendous achievement!
 

 

Women's Swim and Dive Team: 4th place in Conference!

The women's team had the best conference finish in over 10 years! Without a full roster, the swimmers and divers capitalized on every opportunity! Every single swimmer scored in the meet!

Joyce Lin named Female Swimmer of the Year! Winning all 3 events: 200 Individual Medley, 100 Breaststroke, and 200 Breaststroke.

Taesu Yim was selected Male Co-Swimmer of the Year. Taesu was a three-time champion, taking gold in his Freestyle events: 500 (4.44.51), 200 (1:43.10), and 1650 (16:35.77) – all personal best marks!

Day 3 - Highlights:

Anna Kuskova - Second place in the 1650 free in a time of 19:42.32
 
Taesu Yim - Coast Conference Champion in the 1650 free in a time of 16:35.77
 
Joyce Lin - Coast Conference Champion in the 200 IM in a time of 2:24.01
 
Yassin Bouali: Third place in the 100 IM in a time of 54.27 and Third place in the 100 Freestyle in a time of 48.03
 
Elijah Sayson - Second Place in the 200 Breaststroke in a time of 2:11.35
 
Petrina Olson -  Second Place in Conference in the 100 free in a time of 56.80

Men's Championship Contributors:

We clinched the championship with so many swimmers who did NOT have all conference performances, but did grueling events (some back-to-back) and were huge point contributors to the championship!
